It's spring season in Gilgit Baltistan Pakistan, and the weather out here is supposed to be warm as its spring season is on its way here, but still, it's quite cold, almost around 0°C.
Due to this cold weather, the glaciers in the mountains didn't melt properly and the local people faced a lake of water for their crops and plants. the greenery of ghizer is still not there which was supposed to be there this month. you can watch a video of the current scenario of cold weather in her GB. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BevhA9_bFcY&t=5s
On the other hand, due to this cold weather, there is also a lack of greenery as well, which is the primary source of animals' food in these areas as they don't have enough storage of food for their animals, because usually, the weather got normal (warm) till the end of March and greenery comes out immediately which the local people use as the feed for their animals, so this is also a big worry for the locals of Ghizer GB. But it's not there this year due to climate change which affects almost everything and that is something to worry about, for the locals who have to live their lives in these situations.
Priminster Pakistan Imran khan always tries to educate Pakistani people about climate change issue because he knows how serious this issue is & how could it affect the people of Pakistan as ultimately it's the loss of Pakistan and Pakistan will suffer badly due to climate change if suitable measures not taken by the government and people also have a responsibility to help reduce climate change.
