Best route to drive on, ghizer roads

 

 Gilgit baltistan is full of natural resources, natural beauty & attractive places, due to which people from all over the world visit gilgit baltistan & explore it's hidden Beauty. it has normally four seasons which include blow mentioned seasons.

• Summer
• Winter
• Spring
• Autumn 

Geographically GB is divided into three divisions, Diamer, Baltistan & Gilgit. All the villages of these three divisions are located between huge Mountains due to which traveling from one place to another place is not that easy because roads have been made right through mountains and it's really challenging to drive through these routes, especially for tourists who are new to these areas. 

Here is a small video you can go through it to see how roads have been made from one village to other.  It's a video of Ghizer valley, one of the most beautiful and attractive places in Gilgit Baltistan but due to these tough road situations, tourists don't travel to the Ghizer area instead they visit Hunza and gojal area which is connected to khunjrab pass (china border). The road condition towards Hunza district is much better than other districts which are known as KKH, and also it's the route of (CPEC) china Pakistan economic corridor.

The road toward ishkomen valley is a single-lane road, only suitable for one vehicle at a time because its width is only made for a single vehicle which it's difficult while overtake another vehicle. The other difficulty is, there are many sharp turns in the road which sometimes arrive suddenly and it's really difficult to control the vehicle due to which many accidents occur every time.

Due to small roads and sharp turns on road, it's very difficult to control heavy load vehicles including trucks, Mazda & other loading vehicles. So it's a routine that these vehicles meet accidents while going through these difficult roads. But heavy vehicles continue to travel through these areas because it's need of the people to carry huge loads i.e potatoes, fruits, wood, etc.

Other than Ghizer road Skardu road is also one the most difficult/tough road to drive through, especially for loading vehicles, due to the mountainous areas of Skardu. Many tourists make their way to Skardu due to the finest beauty of different villages in Skardu, which attracts tourists despite the death road, especially for new drivers. 

There is a single Road Between Skardu & Gilgit which is the only Earthly Linkage of Baltistan to the Rest of the World. The road is 167km long. Nowadays it is a Valley of Death or Death Hell. Fatal Accidents and Vehicle falling down into River Indus is common due to the small or narrow & broken surface of the Road. Government can construct Metro Bus Service & soon Orange Train will be in Mega Cities but can’t construct the lifeline of the Balti People because it is the only impossible thing in this world so No one cares.

So it is a humble request from the locals to the government to consider this issue because it's the most urgent and important project to be done on first priority in Ghizer, Skardu, Yasin, phunder & ishkomen areas.
